Yr 3 Chiltern Open Air Museum

Chiltern Open Air Museum – ‘Stone Age & Iron Age themed day
On Wednesday 19th November, in connection with our “Stone Age and Iron Age” topic, we
have arranged a trip for Year 3 to visit Chiltern Open Air Museum, where we will be participating
themed workshops throughout the day.
The cost per child will be £24.90, which includes the admission charges for Chiltern Open Air
Museum, workshops, transportation and insurance.
Children will be able to wear their own clothes for this trip and we suggest several layers, a warm
waterproof coat and suitable footwear (trainers/walking boots/wellies), as we will be outside for
the majority of the day in woodland, so please make sure they are suitable clothed for outdoor
activities.
All children will require a snack, packed lunch and drink(s) for this trip, which they will carry with
them all day. Please do not send your child with any canned or fizzy drinks.
We also need a small number of adult helpers, so if you are able to assist on the day,
please speak to your class teacher if you are available to help.
Children will need to be at school promptly at 8.30am on this day and will be back by about
3.15pm for the end of the school day.
Parental consent and payment is now requested using School Gateway.
www.schoolgateway.com. This needs to be completed by Friday 24th October.
