Teaching Assistant 1:1 SEN Support

We want to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Grove Road Primary School. If you have the skills to provide teaching and learning support for KS2 pupils with special educational needs, we would love to hear from you.  Training will be provided although prior experience would be ideal.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • are passionate about making a difference to a child’s learning journey, no matter their starting points;
  • have an awareness and understanding of Special Educational Needs and a desire to extend this knowledge through professional development;
  • will work well as part of a team, working effectively with children, staff, parents and other professionals from outside agencies;
  • are resilient, flexible and willing to take on different challenges;
  • are creative and resourceful.

 

Grove Road Primary School in Tring is a large and welcoming primary school, just minutes away from Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead. We offer full induction and training programme with a friendly, warm and dedicated team as well as enthusiastic and very well-behaved learners.

If you have lived outside the UK within the last 5 years, you will be required to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct or a police certificate from the country/countries you have resided in.
