We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our EYFS team, working with children aged 3-5 years. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Education or equivalent qualification and experience of working in a nursery or school setting. This however is not essential if we see potential in the right person.

A successful candidate will be:

• An excellent practitioner who has high expectations of themselves and the children
• Experienced and knowledgeable about the EYFS curriculum
• Experienced in making assessments and contributing to Learning Journals.
• Creative, adaptable, self-reflective and hard working
• Able to create and facilitate safe, happy and stimulating explore and learn activities
• Positive, with a good sense of humour, a smile and a ‘can do’ attitude
• A clear communicator
• Paediatric first aid trained or willing to take training
• Able to demonstrate a strong and obvious commitment to pupil welfare and safeguarding with a clear understanding of Child Protection issues.
• An excellent team player, willing to support colleagues and take the initiative to keep the setting working smoothly.
