The School Day

The School Day - Timings

We operate a flexible start to the day. Children may come in from 8.30am to undertake activities in their classroom. At Grove Road we meet the DfE directive of 32.5 hours per week. 

Nursery                       

Morning session              08.30 - 11.30

Lunch Club                       11.30 - 12.30

Afternoon session           12.30 - 15.30 (Flexi finish from 3:15pm)

Reception         

Morning session              08.45 - 12.15

Lunch break                     12.15 - 13.15

Afternoon session           13.15 - 15.15

KS1/2 Y1-Y6        

Morning session              08.45 - 12.15

Morning Break                 10.30 - 10.50

Lunch break                     12.15 - 13.15

Afternoon session           13.15 - 15.15

Y1-Y2                                Afternoon break ( If appropriate)

Nursery, Reception and children up to Year 2 are not released until collected by a known person. Some children in older year groups may have permission to either walk to meet their parents on site or walk home alone. Parents are asked to confirm their collection arrangements at the start of every school year.
